Players from the Bexhill walking football community selected 2 teams to play against 3 teams from the 1066 Specials football club. Six competitive (non contact) games were contested, with no shortage of goals and outstanding football played. The best fun, friendship and sport you could wish for on a sunny Saturday morning.
We travelled over to Eastbourne borough to participate in a junior tournament in the morning and adult tournament in the afternoon. We were represented by two junior teams and two senior teams and played some outstanding football in evenly contested matches. All players received medals in an excellent end of tournament presentation.
A visit from players and staff at Eastbourne FC “Spirit of football” junior and senior squads on Saturday resulted in a fun filled morning of fun and entertaining football.
